readyset.dad: The Missing Man Manual for Expecting Dads

I care a lot about raising kids… now. In my teen years, I was oblivious to family planning but I knew I liked girls. They are the spice of life. In my twenties, I knew I wanted a wife and so prayed and pursued until I found one. Thankfully, God was involved in this process and led me to an amazing wife. I only started to get a vision for kids in my mid twenties when I started hearing sermons on family and thinking about family from a less-selfish “what do I get out of it” angle and more of a “what was I created for and what is glorifying to God” perspective.

Fast forward to my forties. I have a young baby again, our seventh child, because He is generous and gives good gifts. She puts a smile on my face every day and I love it. I’ve learned to enjoy the stages rather than grin and bear it, because I know the stages are short and temporary. But the pregnancy stage was not easy. It never has been for us. So I started writing. I wrote dozens of devotionals and then thought about the best way to get them out.

readyset.dad was formed. It took 9 months of praying, writing, early mornings then time to set up the website and email delivery system, and I’m SO EXCITED to finally share this with YOU.

What is this? It’s 3-minute devotionals that help men become better dads. You can get this direct to your inbox or as an e-book. I made these devos spicy 🌶️ 🔥 raw and real, from my heart to the father’s.

The thing is.. it is fun to create life. It is hard to be an emotionally present, godly and faithful father and husband.

I posted the first devotional so you can see what it’s like.

Do you have a friend, son, son-in-law who could use this? You can buy this as gifts 🎁 for others too.

Thanks for reading about this labor of love.
